MHRP oversees all HIV testing for the Army, and serves as the Tri-Service Reference Laboratory.

If you are a DoD site wanting to submit specimens to the HIV Diagnostics & Reference Laboratory (HDRL) for testing, please refer to our Specimen Submission Guidelines for general instructions. PLEASE NOTE! As of 17 March 2010, HDRL will no longer offer HTLV I/II testing. HDRL will advise all MTFs as soon as testing becomes available again. Please see memo below for details.
